HUGE Announcement/Surprise & Michaels Haul!

Hi everyone!! I'm sooooo excited!! And also very sorry for the slow activity on my craft site but that's because I've been working on a huge project and I'm super excited to announce it now!! I'm going to start a crafting business!!!!! I'm going to sell on etsy and even make my own brand!! It's going to be polymer clay charms and jewelry!! So to stock up on some supplies..I went to Michaels!! Haul time!

 This is just an overview of everything I got! Since its a business and not just a hobby anymore I spent a LOT of money but its totally okay..so lets get started!

 The first thing is this jewelry kit, it has the tools, beads, wire, and even the board to make jewelry! I'm super excited! It was $16 which is a little expensive but its a kit and if I bought everything seperately then it would have costed more so this was the best option!

 Next is this bead organizer that I got to store beads in and I already have a couple of these that I bought for polymer clay charms so I knew that these were the best to store beads in also.

 Then for jewelry making I also got some extra cording and some extra closures..

 Now for polymer clay charms I just got a pack of eyepins.

 Sculpey gloss glaze for polymer clay charms!

 Now this I'm SUPER excited about also..its the sculpey working mat and this was $15 but it's totally worth it because its the perfect surface for making professional clay charms!

 I got a bunch of clay in some colors that I needed!

Then finally a roller that was $7 but its super worth it because its great for making professional clay charms!

Sorry Just A Little Break Needed :)

School kept me busy and I barely had time to relax so I promise I will start posting by next weekend(maybe even before that,we'll see). Back From Break! And Origami Dragon! And Challenge!

Hi Everyone!!! I'm back from my week long break, I was just getting ready for school and other things but I'm happy to continue now! So for today I have a really cool origami project to share with you all! My friend Rida, made this origami dragon (pic below)!! Isn't it amazing?!?! It took her 3 weeks to make in parts and I probably would have given up the first day!

So going with the origami theme....let's do a challenge! I want everyone to try and make something origami, it could be very simple or complicated depending on your choice and I want you all to send me a pic of it to my email at: craftingfunwithhamna@yahoo.com :) Even if your sure you don't want to, please give it a try and it only takes a minute to show the world your creativity because I will also show pics of the origami projects here! The deadline for this challenge is Aug.19 and I will have a post on Aug.20 showing the origami projects that you all made! And this challenge is special because the past "supply of the day" challenges will also be included so please show your creativity and there's still time to do those challenges and email me by the deadline so that your projects can be shown on Aug.20 here! Diecuts!

Hi Everyone! So my long/regular posts will start from today, the past small ones were just to quickly post because I was busy but still wanted to have some posts on my craft site up for you guys. :) Also I will feature/show some eid cards that I made soon. But for today, I will be doing a post on diecuts! If your wondering hmm what are diecuts?? Well, they are pieces of paper/cardstock cut into shapes usually by some diecutting machine. Most crafters know about diecuts so its normal if you don't know what they are. Now below is a pic of a diecut that I cut using my cricut machine(which is a diecutting machine).

I love using diecuts because you can cut words or even a shape to use as the main focus of your card. Heres a pic of an example of a shape heart diecut below. My favorite part using shape diecuts is that you can use cute patterned paper. :)

Now if you don't have a diecut machine since they can be pricey, try using a stamp. Just stamp then cut out and you have a diecut! Below is a pic of a good example of a stamp set that you could use to make diecuts.

Now I hope you guys learned more about what diecuts are because I'm gonna be using them in the future a lot on my cards! Supply of The Day: Watercolors

Hi Everyone! So today is going to be the second "supply of the day" post! Let's get started! So today's supply of the day is.....watercolors!! In the upcoming supply of the days I will also show a pic of a project that I have used the supply inshaAllah. So below are just some pics of watercolors, as you can see they come in the basic 8 colors and also in big packs close to 30 colors or more.

"Miss you so" card

Hi Everyone! I have another card to share today that I made a while ago! Pics of the card are below! This is a really quick and simple post today, just to give you inspiration to make more cards. :) In this card I used my cricut machine to cut a heart shaped diecut and some gold glitter glue to do a pretty effect.

Getting Back On Track!

Hi Everyone! I'm soooooooo sorry that I haven't posted in soooo long AGAIN! :) I just wanted to say that I am planning posts and scheduling them so that there will be lots more crafting for whats left of summer! So stay tuned, and don't worry, no more breaks! Its time to take crafting to the next level! Throughout the week I will have small posts everyday then I will continue to post 3-6 normal posts a week and maybe you might see a crafting video once in a while. :) That's it for now! Bracelets!

Hi Everyone! So today I'm sharing some bracelets! These bracelets are really cool because they can be handmade,are really quick to make and they look professional! To make a bracelet I have directions below.

Materials:

• Bracelet chain (should be 1-2 inches bigger then the size of your wrist)
• Scissors
• Craftlace in the color of your choice (an inch bigger then the chain)
• Jumprings and pliers (below is a pic of what jumprings are(only pic i had of them so it might be out of place), their used to close the bracelet and are pretty much little round metal rings)

*The materials can be found at craft stores such as Michaels, Hobby Lobby and Joann.

Directions:
1) Cut chain using pliers to 1-2 inches bigger then the size of your wrist.
2) Cut craftlace using scissors to an bigger then the chain.
3) Wrap the craftlace up and down through the chain holes until the end.
4) Cut any extra craftlace that's hanging from the chain.
5) Using pliers, attach a jumpring to the last hole on a side of the chain then to close the bracelet, attach the jumpring to the last hole on the other side of the chain. The bracelet should be done after this. :)

That's how you make the bracelet! I was just going to show the pics of the bracelets but also decided to do a small tutorial. If the directions aren't clear enough, I might do a video but it won't be this month.
Onto the pics of the bracelets, that you haven't seen yet!

 These are the bracelets I made so far. The 2 on the bottom are finished while the one on the top still needs to be finished.

                                                      Here's the blue bracelet.

                                                         And the pink bracelet.

                                       Then the blue bracelet that I'm not done with yet.

   Here's how it looks at the end, the little round ring attaching the 2 sides is the jumpring.

 And here's how it looks pretty when you make more then one and layer them up in different colors.
AWESOME :)

     And last but definitely not least, a smiley out of the bracelets that you made :)

Hi Everyone! Sorry I didn't post the craft that I was supposed to on Monday, was a little busy. But I am posting it now! The first crafting post in months! Today I have some polymer clay charms to share with you all! Let's get started!

Summer! And more crafting!

Hi everyone! Surprised, right? Yup, I'm finally back! It's been soooooooooooooooooo long! Summer is finally here and I can definitely post like I used to! So my plans are to post atleast 4-5 times every week and at the beginning of the week I will have a "schedule" to show what I'm going to be posting that week. Just thought I should update now and I will Inshallah post tomorrow. This school year has been so long and I definitely didn't post that much so be excited for LOTS of fun crafting! Hi everyone!!!! It's been sooo long since I actually posted anything fun or crafting related right?? Don't worry, I will post some fun cards and stuff soon. But for now I am continuing the short break. The break will be till this weekend, so I will post this weekend InshaAllah. I'm thinking of some new ideas to post about so if any of you all have suggestions then remember to email me at craftingfunwithhamna@yahoo.com  Right now I'm thinking of ideas and will write them down and work on them this weekend.
